Hair Loss

Hair loss or male pattern baldness begins with a receding hairline, followed by thinning of the hair on the crown and temples until the bald patches meet. Male pattern baldness is the common type of hair loss that develops in most men at some stage. Up to 80% of men have some hair loss by the age of 70. However, the age the hair loss starts is variable. About three in ten men aged 30 years and half of men aged 50 years have significant balding.
